Check

One question, how sure?

One question, how sure, ends a lesson with a single question on its main idea, its wrong answers each a common mistake, and pupils say how sure they are, from one to three.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Pupils answer and circle how sure they are.
  2. Sort answers into right, wrong and unsure, and wrong and sure.
  3. Start the next lesson with the confident mistakes.

Why it works

A mistake made with confidence is corrected more strongly once the right answer is shown, so knowing which mistakes are confident tells the teacher where to start.
