Remember
True, false or it depends
True, false or it depends gives pupils a few statements about what they learnt before, and for each they answer true, false, or it depends, saying on what.
The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.
How to run it
- Read each statement; pupils show T, F or D on fingers or boards.
- Ask a pupil who chose D to say on what.
- Go over any the class split on.
Why it works
Retrieving an idea and deciding when it holds makes pupils think about its conditions, not only its words.
